I’ve been playing gigs since I was 10 years old - with a quartet for about 20 years and then, since moving to Des Moines, on my own! I love to play, entertain, and perform, and these days I mainly play for weddings and corporate/non-profit events. I play acoustic or electric violin at gigs, supported by a Bose sound system. I play solo violin and I also play my violin accompanied by pre-recorded, electronic back-up tracks. It’s like the whole band with the violinist as the singer! I first heard a violinist doing this at a wedding in the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, and I’ve been providing this service ever since! I have a lot of different package options! I grew up on the Suzuki Method, and fell in love with classical music, particularly the Russian romantic composers, early in life.
